Change (Feat. ThouxanBanFauni) prod. NxxxxxS

Bringing you an oldie today with Atlanta natives, Kevin Champion and ThouxanBanFauni. Opening with a sample from the movie “Menace II Society”, ThouxanBanFauni opens it up with a sly verse over the banging flute and bass track (shoutout to NxxxxxS). Kevin Champion grabs the baton and preaches on his independent artistry, and building his clout. Its a back and forth with these two throughout the track, which at times, creates a nice juxtaposition. Fauni has a line speaking on his love of “fucking bitches” and sinning, then Kevin Champion spins it speaking on “Trying not to sin”, and being a young prophet (gotta love the duality). This track comes off as a healthy mix of bold confidence and formulaic scheming. The way these two use words to talk about the come up speaks to those of us in a similar position, not to mention Kevin Champion’s line on college. This track was very different from what I’ve heard fromThouxandBanFauni before, but its one for the books. Aux approved by Primal Context.
